What to get right on a fashion designer / tailor quotation
- Quote per piece for group orders and say how many fittings each piece includes. A third fitting is where the margin on aso ebi disappears.
- State who supplies the fabric and how many yards each style needs. If the client's fabric falls short, the quote should say the shortfall is bought at their cost.
- Price rush jobs as their own line. A client who sees the express fee up front argues less than one who finds it folded into the unit price.
