The proforma invoice is on the Nigerian edition; the other five documents are in every edition.

Yes. The Currency field starts on your edition's currency; change it to bill a client abroad. The document number is an ordinary field you can type over.

1. Open the generator for your document.
2. Pick another currency in the Currency field.
3. Type the number you want in the number field, for example INV-2026-014.

Automatic numbering, where the following number is filled in for you, comes with Owoode Pro, which is not open yet.

Yes. Upload a PNG or JPG under 400 KB in the business details section of any generator; it prints at the top of the PDF and stays on your device. The Word template also takes a logo in Word.

You typed it on this device before. It is stored in your browser only. Clear it by clearing the fields or your browser's site data.

They are stored in the browser on the device where you typed them. Clearing site data, private browsing, another browser or another phone all start empty.

There is no account to restore them from; type them once more on the device you use.

Yes. Every page is built for a phone first. PDFs download to your phone and the WhatsApp share opens the chat directly.

It opens a WhatsApp chat to the client's number with a summary of the document already typed. Attach the PDF you downloaded. Nothing is sent through this site.

No. It is a business document you send yourself. The NRS has not validated it as an e-invoice, Kenya's eTIMS has not either, and no tax authority's system ever receives it.

No. There are no accounts on this site. When you want a document kept, tracked and matched to its payment, that is what ereQa is for.

Every edition has a VAT or sales tax calculator, amount in words and a markup and margin calculator. A salary (PAYE) calculator is in the editions where the tax bands have been researched, and some editions add overtime, gratuity or a tax ID format check.

Nigeria also has a withholding tax calculator and a tax calculator hub.

Yes. It works both ways: put the tax on top of a net price, or pull it back out of a gross total that already includes it.

Usually one of three things: your payroll still uses the pre-2026 bands, your pension is on a different share of gross, or you claimed rent relief and payroll did not. Adjust the inputs; if it still differs, ask payroll which bands they use.

No. The tools apply the published rules to the numbers you type. Your circumstances may differ; confirm with a qualified adviser or the NRS before filing.

From each country's official sources. Every page shows a last-reviewed date, the how we calculate page lists the formula and source for each figure, and the changelog records every rate change.

Send us the page and the figure you expected through the contact form. We check it against the official source, and confirmed errors are fixed and dated in the changelog.

3. Fill in the figure shown, the figure you expected and, if you have one, the source.

Use the country switcher in the header to change edition. The countries page lists every edition.

Each edition uses its own currency, tax name and rate, tax ID label and paper size.

Each edition is in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese or Arabic, following the country. The help centre is in all five. Support replies are in English.

No. They are written from each country's official sources and dated. Many start with an “Official site” box linking the government portal where the task is actually done.

No. PDFs, Excel files and calculations are produced in your browser. Your business and bank details are remembered on your own device only, so the next document is faster.

What does leave your browser: an email address if you choose to give one, and what you send through the contact form or the Help button.

Your email, your name if you give one, the topic, your message, the page you were on and the page's language. A person reads it and replies by email. It does not add you to a mailing list.

Clear owoode.com's site data in your browser settings. That removes your saved business details and recent documents from that device.

Nothing to delete on our side: we never received them. For a message you sent us, write to ask and we delete it.

Open the file in a browser or another PDF viewer first: some phone previewers show a blank page or swap the fonts. If it is still blank there, tell us your browser, your device and the page.

2. Still blank? Download it once more from the page.
3. Still blank? Use the contact form and pick “PDF or download problem”.

The PDF is built inside your browser, so it needs an up-to-date one: Chrome 97, Firefox 102, Safari 16.4 or newer. Very old browsers cannot build it; the rest of the site still works.

If an up-to-date browser still fails, send us the browser, the device and the page.

It should not: the PDF embeds a font with the naira sign. If you see a box, your PDF viewer is substituting fonts; open the file in another viewer or a browser.

Yes. Every generator and calculator is free with no watermark and no sign-up. The bank statement converter is free for the first conversion on a device and asks for an email after that. Owoode Pro, when it opens, adds to the free tools and takes nothing away.

Not yet: Pro is opening soon, and the button on the Pro page says so. That page also lists the opening prices for each region.

Not on the free tools: the foot of every free PDF carries the “Made with Owoode · owoode.com” credit, and taking it off is one of the things Pro is for. The site never adds a watermark or blocks the download.

Yes. You will sign in with an email address, on three devices at once at most. Documents keep living on your device; what we store is your Pro status and the date it ends.

Apply on the join page. We check your credentials with your professional body before anything is published. Listings are paid yearly and priced by country.

A country's page goes live once enough checked accountants have joined. Featured listings are labelled “Ad”.

The directory is opening country by country, so most countries have no listings yet. Meanwhile, your country's “find and check an accountant” guide explains who may practise and links the official register.

No. Owoode never sells leads and never lists anyone without their agreement.

Scanned or image-only PDFs cannot be read yet; the converter needs the text layer the bank app produces. If the PDF is text and still fails, send us the bank name and the first page layout (not the file) and we will add the format.

Each row is checked: previous balance plus credit minus debit must equal the new balance. 100% means every row passed. Rows that fail are highlighted so you can check them against the PDF.

No. The PDF is opened in your browser and never sent anywhere. The password, if the bank set one, is used on your device only.
