About Owoode
A small set of tools that do the paperwork Nigerian businesses send every week, built by the people who build the books it goes into.
What this site is
Owoode is a free toolkit for Nigerian money paperwork. It makes invoices and proformas in naira with the fields a Nigerian client and the NRS expect, and it works out VAT, PAYE and withholding tax under the rules in force from January 2026. Every tool runs in your browser. Nothing you type is uploaded, and your business details are remembered on your own device only.
Who builds it
The team behind ereQa, an invoicing, expenses and bookkeeping platform for Nigerian small businesses. The tools here are free because a document is a one-off and books are every month. When you want an invoice tracked, matched to its payment and ready for your accountant, Save to ereQa does that.
How we keep the numbers right
Every rate and threshold lives in one place and carries the source it came from: the Nigeria Tax Act 2025 for PAYE and VAT, the Deduction of Tax at Source (Withholding) Regulations 2024 for WHT, and NRS public notices for e-invoicing. Each tool and guide shows a last-reviewed date. If you find an error, tell usand we will fix it and say so. The editorial policy sets out how content is written, reviewed and corrected, and the methodology page shows every formula.
Who reviews the figures
Tax figures are reviewed by the ereQa team against the primary sources. A named reviewer with professional credentials will be listed here at launch.
What we will not build
Receipt makers, transfer-alert generators, account statement makers and anything whose main use is to fake a document. The bank statement converter goes the other way: it reads a real statement in your browser and turns it into a spreadsheet, and it never sees the file. The how we calculate page shows every formula and source.
