Who can list in the United Arab Emirates, and how we check

In the UAE the Ministry of Economy keeps a register of auditors, covering individuals, national audit companies and branches of foreign firms. We could not confirm whether the public can search it. The Ministry does not license accountants who do not audit, so for bookkeeping and accounting practices we ask for your trade licence and photo ID instead, and auditors send their Ministry registration.
