From application to listing

  1. Apply with your member or licence number

  2. We check it with your professional body

  3. You accept the terms by email

  4. We send an invoice with a payment link

  5. Your card goes live once it is paid

Who can list in Malaysia, and how we check

MIA does not run an instant public lookup. Instead it answers an Official Search request by letter, reportedly within about three working days, giving status, category, practising certificate and firm. We could not open that request page ourselves, so we ask for your MIA membership and practising certificate and then confirm them with MIA.

  • MIAMalaysian Institute of AccountantsCertificate and photo IDMIA answers member checks through a formal Official Search request rather than an instant public lookup, so we ask for your MIA membership and practising certificate and confirm with MIA.
