Social contributions on each payslip
PERKESO (SOCSO), under the Employees' Social Security Act 1969: for workers under 60, the employment injury and invalidity schemes take 1.75% of monthly wages from the employer and 0.5% from the employee. The Employment Insurance System (SIP, branded Lindung Kerjaya) adds 0.2% from the employer and 0.2% from the employee. PERKESO states a maximum insurable monthly wage of RM6,000.
