Who can list in Germany, and how we check
In Germany tax advisers and auditors sit on different public registers. The official Steuerberaterverzeichnis, linked by the Bundessteuerberaterkammer and open to everyone, covers Steuerberater, Steuerbevollmächtigte and firms, searched by surname or firm name plus town or postcode. Wirtschaftsprüfer and vereidigte Buchprüfer are in the Wirtschaftsprüferkammer's Berufsregister. Give us your name and town exactly as the register shows them.
