Who can list in Turkey, and how we check
Turkey licenses accountants by title, SMMM (serbest muhasebeci mali müşavir) or YMM (yeminli mali müşavir), through chambers united under TÜRMOB. TÜRMOB's site is said to offer a professional lookup, but it would not load for us, so we ask for your SMMM or YMM licence and confirm with your chamber. Independent auditors are authorised separately by the KGK, and we ask for that authorisation if you sign audits.
