Who can list in Zambia, and how we check

ZICA keeps two registers under the Accountants Act 2008, one of chartered accountants and one of members. Its paid-up members list, a PDF that pairs each name with a member number, proves membership only. The right to practise comes from an audit or non-audit practising certificate, renewed every year and displayed at your office. Registered firms appear on a separate list, split into audit and non-audit practising firms and last dated 4 May 2026, and we match your member number against both.
