Issuing a valid invoice here

The tax invoice is issued when the goods or services are supplied (VAT Act Art. 34(1)). Issuing early, before the supply date, is allowed under Art. 34(2).

A single invoice for a whole month is allowed. Under Art. 34(3) it may be issued up to the 10th of the following month (the next business day if that is a Saturday or holiday) when it is dated the last day of the calendar month and totals that customer's supplies, when it covers a period of up to one month fixed with that customer, or when it carries the actual transaction date and is backed by documents.

Retail-type sellers do not issue tax invoices at all. Art. 36(1) requires a receipt instead from a simplified taxpayer and from a general taxpayer, designated by decree, who mainly sells to people who are not businesses.

A mistake is not edited on the original. Art. 32(7) provides for a new corrected tax invoice or corrected electronic tax invoice. Corporations and designated individual businesses must use the electronic form under Art. 32(2), so a plain PDF is not a substitute for them.
