Who can list in Kenya, and how we check
Kenya runs a two-part test. ICPAK says the Accountants Act requires both a personal practising certificate and a licence before anyone practises, and it licenses practitioners in four categories: M for accounting and consulting, T for tax, A for audit and assurance, and C for composite. Its public member search works only by ICPAK member number, so have yours ready. If you sign audit opinions under an A or C licence, ICPAK has required a UDIN on each of them since 1 October 2025.
