Ghana sets no statutory overtime premium. This page explains what the working time law actually requires, what sets your rate instead, and the rules that do still bite.
What applies instead Overtime starts after 40 hours a week. Overtime starts after 8 hours a day. Set by Labour Act 2003 (Act 651) ss. 33–38. Worth knowing
Section 35(2) only makes it a precondition that the undertaking has fixed overtime rates before it can require overtime. It sets no multiplier. Section 38 even permits unpaid overtime during an accident emergency.
